Hi, I’m Thea, founder of The Little Big Escapes, mum of two busy little boys (just turned 3 and 1.5), CrossFit coach, pregnancy & postpartum personal trainer, and a travel-obsessed planner who thrives on crafting the perfect getaway.

I live in the fast-paced rat-race of Southwest London; I get up at 5am four days a week to coach, parent, and juggle a million moving parts. But travel? That’s my escape, my passion, and my reset button. It’s where I reconnect with myself, my husband (we’ve been together 15 years, married for 8), my family and the joy of new adventures.  whether that’s a luxury couples’ weekend, a full-on Disney trip with the kids, or a friends’ escape that lets me be more than “mum” for 48 hours.

Postpartum hit me harder than I expected. I love my children fiercely, but I’ve also lost sight of me. This blog is about reclaiming that: sharing the escapes, the hacks, the honest moments, and the real-life itineraries that blend what they need with what we crave. Every holiday I plan is researched to the inch, because time off is rare and it has to deliver.
